As reported earlier, a report showed that a school of liars in Ohio (formerly called Ohio State) knew about their players selling sports memorabilia (an infraction) seven to eight months before what there football coach, Jim Tressel, athletic director, Gene Smith and president, Gordon Gee previously reported. (And it's worth noting that Ohio State did not self report - They only got involved when the US government outed the issue).
One day after Yahoo Sports exposed the cover-up, the whores leaked to ESPN that Tressel's job was safe. Of course it is. It's a Den Of Thieves and they look out for each other. The ESPN article also pointed out that it is underlined in Tressel's contract that he will report any known violations immediately. Tressel is in breach of contract he has damaged the integrity of the institution, but essentially a school of liars in Ohio is saying that they have no integrity.
A school of liars in Ohio deals in power, not integrity.
A school of liars in Ohio deals in power, not integrity.
Shots Heard believes that a school of liars in Ohio issue is only symptomatic of a bigger, much more pressing problem. Schools like a school of liars in Ohio have taken undue control with the BCS (football) and NCAA Tournament (basketball). In both sports, they have systematically locked out teams from other conferences and oppressed them, both financially and in terms of championship opportunities.
A school of liars president, Gordon Gee bragged that fellow undefeated (and better) teams TCU and BSU (Boise) were unworthy of being in a national championship game when in fact they were just as worthy as any opponent.
It was university presidents like Gee that set-up the system to disregard such teams whether or not they were as good or better even. And it is presidents like Gee that run scared when the Boise States of the world offer to play them. It is the Gees of the world that are bragging that college football is not broke while they maximize their revenues in their paper championships (As far as Shots Heard is concerned there was no college champion last year with TCU also going undefeated and more than capable of beating Auburn).
In basketball, Gene Smith chairs the NCAA Selection Committee. Year after year, 'smaller' schools are overlooked in favor of 'big school' interests.
